Cybersecurity Trivia Night
A fun night of networking and trivia, while supporting the Central Texas Food Bank
Attendees: 50+
Audience: Cybersecurity practitioners of all levels
The Organization
This event was not aligned to a given company or professional organization, the goal was to break barriers between the professional groups and create an unaffiliated event while doing good in the community. We partnered with many leaders from local cybersecurity organizations and gathered sponsors to donate all elements of the event, keeping it free and all money raised going straight to Central Texas Food Bank.
The Event
The event was focused on networking, building community, interactive learning, and supporting a local non-profit. The majority of the night consisted of unstructured networking while enjoying Franklins BBQ, open bar, and sunset views of downtown Austin. The final hour of the event was our cybersecurity focused trivia ranging from GRC, technical, history, and community. Attendees included practitioners of all levels and industry partners.
